An S Technic Pitch Stopper (aka Pitching Stopper or Pitching Control Rod) assists in reducing the fore/aft movement of the engine and gearbox when accelerating or decelerating, and, if you are gullible enough to believe everything you read on the interweb, they are purported to do everything from turn ‘water into wine’ to making you ‘irresistible to the opposite sex’ (or same sex if that is your cup of tea).
